Shawnee Mountain

With 75 percent of its terrain dedicated beginner and intermediate, Shawnee Mountain is an ideal Pennsylvania resort for learning how to ski and snowboard.  Shawnee Mountain offers 23 groomed trails and a 700-foot vertical drop.  Two terrain parks, including Beginners Incubator Park, feature boxes, rails and other snow obstacles for snowboarders to master.  When it comes to lesson programs for kids, Shawnee Mountain is recognized as a leader for its ski and snowboard programs.  More than 150 professional ski and snowboard instructors conduct an estimated 40,000 lessons each year, making Shawnee Mountain one of the biggest ski and snowboard lessons centers on the East Coast.  All inclusive lesson packages are bundled with a lift ticket, instruction and rental equipment.  The snowtubing park at Shawnee Mountain features five groomed chutes.  Tandem tubes are available for exciting family fun.
